The registration for WB TET exam for primary classes was started from 14 October 2022, which went on till 3 November 2022. The applied aspirants will appear in the examination on Sunday, 11 December 2022. Aspirants who pass the WB TET 2022 exam should know one thing that TET certificate is valid for life time.
Aspirants paid a fee of Rs 150 through online means while submitting the WBTET Exam 2022 Application Form online. However, it is Rs.100 for OBC-A and OBC-B category aspirants of the state and Rs.50 for SC/ST/PWD aspirants. Aspirants can download the West Bengal TET Admit Card 2022 Online from 28 November 2022.

To apply for the WBTET to be organized by the West Bengal Primary Education Board, aspirants must have passed Senior Secondary with minimum 50% marks and 2-year Diploma or 4-year B.El.D or Diploma in Special Education; OR Graduation with at least 50% marks and must have obtained B.Ed degree. The Government of West Bengal has announced a relaxation of 5% in the prescribed minimum 50% marks in the desired qualification for WB TET Exam 2022, which will be applicable for the reserved categories.
This means that SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, Divyang categories aspirants who have 45% marks in 12th/ Graduation could also fill the WBTET Exam 2022 Application Form. WBBPE has issued the West Bengal Primary TET Exam 2022 Hall Ticket via www.wbbpe.org.

- Paper I of the WB TET is to be organized for Class 1 to 5 and will be organized offline or in pen and paper mode.
- There are a total of 5 subjects that will be asked in the WBTET out of which 2 are language papers.
- In the WBTET 2022 the aspirant will get 1 mark for each correct option marked by him.
- There is no provision of negative marking in the West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test.

WB TET Qualifying Marks
An aspirant of UR (General) category who will score 60% and above out of the full marks i.e 150 marks in the West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test will be qualified as WB TET 2022 passed aspirant. However, 5% relaxation is provided to the aspirants belonging to the reserve category SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PH, EC, Ex-Servicemen & DH (Death-in-harness) and there qualifications mark is 55%.
